Human Welfare Studies

Human Welfare Studies and Services is the study of social intervention designed to help persons, individually and collectively, maximise their social and economic wellbeing. Internationally many reputed universities and colleges offer industry-based flexible study options for international students where they can choose their desired study programs in this field.
The main purpose of this narrow field of education is to develop an understanding of the social, political and economic climate in which social policy is developed, administered and implemented, the social needs of individuals, groups and communities within society, and the social influences that effect the behaviour and social functioning of people.
The Graduate Program of Human Welfare Studies trains practitioners and researchers to solve today's social issues and life challenges requiring highly advanced knowledge and skills. The Master’s course builds upon the undergraduate education by developing further professional expertise.
Human Welfare graduates can work in a variety of fields, either by government or state organisations or reputed NGOs.
